SUMMARY:Free Community Meditation - First Friday's @ 6:30pm
DESCRIPTION:Our Evanston\, Illinois Wellness and Meditation Center offers a free group guided meditation for peace\, mindfulness\, and relaxation.  Welcoming you the first Friday of each month 6:30pm – 7:30pm.  We have been providing this free community event in the Chicago area for over 28 years.  We begin with gentle breathing techniques followed by short Native American drumming into the guided meditation. \n\n\n\nMeditation Across The World \n\n\n\nOur Loving Kindness goal is to provide everyone in the world an opportunity to meditate and its working!!! SUMMARY:Vibrational Sound Healing
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the healing sounds of three gongs tuned to the planets Uranus\, Jupiter\, and the Moon. Uranus to balance emotions and hormones. Jupiter to open and nourish the heart center. And the Moon to awaken intuition and connection to divinity. \n\n\n\nBased on ancient wisdom\, the gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. The gong balances the central nervous system and aids in deep meditation. Tibetan and Singing Crystal Bowls will be added to raise the vibration. \n\n\n\nSupported by a mat\, blanket\, get comfy & prepare yourself for a relaxing and meditative experience! We will provide yoga mats\, blankets\, bolsters or seated chair. You are welcome to bring your own supplies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Sound Guide: Jenny Bergold started practicing yoga in 1999 and teaching in 2009. Jenny discovered yoga to calm the body and strengthen the mind. Jenny has her 200 Hour Hatha certification from Heaven Meets Earth Yoga in Evanston\, IL and her 200 Hour Kundalini certification from Spirit Rising Yoga in Chicago\, IL. Jenny is also certified in Prenatal\, Restorative\, Yin\, and Radiant Child Yoga. Jenny’s classes and sound healings focus on the mind and meditation\, healing the body through asana\, and uplifting the spirit through inspiration.
