SUMMARY:Reiki Hands On Practitioner Training
DESCRIPTION:Dates included in the program: October 6\, 20 & 27 \n\n\n\nAll Sunday’s 10am – 3pm (class tuition of $375 pays for all three dates) \n\n\n\nThis is an open to the public training \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this course is to provide attending students working knowledge and hands-on training regarding the Traditional Tibetan Reiki system of stress relief.   Our Reiki Hands-On Practitioner training is a combined three-day hands-on and lecture program.  \n\n\n\nReiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows anyone to improve stress reduction and enhance the quality of life through the application of Reiki.  This course examines the key elements of Reiki with a strong focus on hands-on applications of the Reiki system.  The projected benefits for learning Reiki are to increase the student’s knowledge based regarding various forms of Tibetan Reiki stress reduction techniques. \n\n\n\nThe Reiki practitioner training encompasses …\n\n\n\n\nThe history\, description/meaning/single use of 5 Reiki symbols\n\n\n\nClinical applications of step by step guide for self-care\, full chair session and hands-on full table session.\n\n\n\nStudents will learn advanced site-specific applications for areas\, such as\, TMJ\, congestion within the cranial region\, shoulder conditions\, lower back restrictions.\n\n\n\nTraining will also be provided for code of ethics and soap charting.\n\n\n\nAdvanced Reiki techniques will also be taught such as distant healing\, hand mudra’s\, harmonic tones\, reiki stack method and 5 polarities / elements of the energy system (CE hours are not included in the advanced reiki techniques.)\n\n\n\nReiki Level 3 Practitioner Certification Provided\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContinuing Education: Accredited Approved Provider for 12 CE Hours for Illinois Registered Massage Therapists.  Provider number #419896-00 \n\n\n\nDates included in the program  Dates included in the program: Dates included in the program: October 6\, 20 & 27. I found ways to direct this through education\, training\, hands-on experience and my artwork. SUMMARY:Using Your Herbal Harvest
DESCRIPTION:Learn to use your garden and herbal harvest in this fun workshop. Utilize your beautiful summer harvest for herbal oils\, herbal salves\, herbal tinctures\, personal care products and culinary delights. \n\n\n\nIn this fun and informative workshop students will make an herbal tincture from one of their choice of a few summer harvest herbs. Students will learn many ways to utilize their harvest and in class learn step by step instructions to make the tincture.  \n\n\n\nEach student will make a tincture to take home. All materials are included in the workshop and all experience levels are welcomed. \n\n\n\nWe will also learn about other ways to use their summer harvest i.e. the herbal oils\, herbal salves\, herbal tinctures\, personal care products and culinary uses. \n\n\n\nMost big box stores that sell herbal oils sell adulterated versions.  Making your own herbal products ensures the strength and quality of the products and offers the opportunity to create personal wellness. \n\n\n\nWhether you are starting or adding to your home apothecary\, this workshop will expand your knowledge of herbal wellness and assist in nature connection. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Instructor: Karen Clarke is a healer and teacher of varied traditions with a deep connection to nature and plants. Master herbalist\, earning a degree from Green Wisdom School of Natural and Botanical Medicine in Alma\, Wisconsin. Master Gardener and Master Naturalist. She is a garden consultant\, garden designer and herbalist. She is a Siksika Blackfoot Medicine person and sacred pipe carrier. Reiki Practitioner and Master Healer. Teacher training with Billie Topa Tate at MSI in Evanston\, and has studied with Billie Topa Tate since 2004. She studies traditional women’s medicine and TEK (traditional ecological knowledge) with Grandmother\, Elder\, Moonie kwe\, Dbik Gii’ zhigate-kwe Anishinaabe-kwe from Ontario\, Canada Atikameksheng Anishnawbek.
