DESCRIPTION:Unwind\, Connect with Nature\, Improve Health \n\n\n\nForest Therapy\, also known as Forest Bathing\, is a relational practice that brings peopleinto deeper intimacy with natural places\, including our natural self. It offers us thepossibility of meeting again the true essence of who we are. Forest Bathing comes fromthe Japanese word Shinrin-Yoku which means\, “taking in the atmosphere of the forest”.Scientific research reports many health benefits attributed to forest therapy\, suchas boosted immune function\, improved cardiovascular and respiratory health\, increasedfocus and a lowering of stress and depression.  \n\n\n\nA 2-hour forest therapy walk typically covers less than a mile. On it you’ll be guidedthrough a sequence of forest bathing invitations designed to help you slow down. Theseinvitations will invite you to use your body’s senses to explore the intricate beauty ofnature. There will be time for sharing with others and at the conclusion\, a sacredgathering over tea. \n\n\n\nRain Date: July 9th Sunday  \n\n\n\nARRIVAL TIME – 9:30AM.  Please arrive at 9:30am at the location below so we may begin on time.  Thank you \n\n\n\nLocation: Harms Woods – Glenview woods entrance on Harms Road. Meet near the end of the parking lot on the grass. Please meet there at 9:30am to get things started.  We will begin at at 10 AM.  We will proceed even if there is a very slight drizzle – dress appropriately for the weather.
