DESCRIPTION:Our Evanston\, Illinois Wellness and Meditation Center offers a free group guided meditation for peace\, mindfulness and relaxation every Friday at 6:30pm – 7:30pm.  We have been providing this free community event in the Chicago area for over 25 years.  We begin with gentle breathing techniques followed by short Native American drumming into the guided meditation. \n\n\n\nMeditation Across The World \n\n\n\nOur Loving Kindness goal is to provide everyone in the world an opportunity to meditate and its working!!! We receive telephone calls from people all over the world from South Africa\, Argentina\, Britain\, New Zealand\, and Sweden and everywhere in the United States.  Our growing project is truly helping create a world filled with compassion.  Enjoy a free online meditation by clicking on the video below. \n\n\n\nEach and every person has reason to hope for peace and today we can create a sacred space for everyone and make a difference. Be in Love with your body!  \n\n\n\nHave pen and paper by your side.  Prior to class have a clean glass of water and a quartz crystal (or from the quartz family of Amethyst\, Smokey\, Citrine with no matrix.  This is to put in the bottom of your water filled glass to amplify the energies of our session.  You may also surround yourself with some of your chosen crystal/gemstone favorites (they may choose you).  You may even bring your favorite jewelry. \n\n\n\nI will share crystal healing wisdom after the journey on how to use crystals for healing.  If you are local and would love to purchase a high energy crystal\, they are for sale at MSI Wellness.  Allow the event to program your crystal helpers with the sacred energies of our gathering.  The guided journey will be recorded and sent to you for future listening and healing.   \n\n\n\nDawn Silver is the author of the book and card deck Jewels of the Lotus Tibetan Gemstone Oracle\, a recipient of the Coalition of Arts Award. She offers a series called Jewels of the Lotus Crystal Healing certification program.She is currently doing Sky of Jewels Sea of Pearls Astrology and Intuitive sessions\, via phone\, Skype or Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Understanding the Elements\, Astrology\, and Numerology of the Cards with Chris Allaun \n\n\n\nIn this class you will learn what the numbers and symbols mean on the tarot. You will be able to understand the colors as well as the astrological correspondences so that you will be able to pick up any tarot deck and do a powerful reading for yourself or others. This class is wonderful for both the beginner as well as the seasoned tarot reader. \n\n\n\nThis is an online workshop. \n\n\n\nItems Needed: Raider-Waite Tarot. For this class cards that are based on the Raider-Waite tarot are preferred. As wonderful as angel cards\, Fairy Cards\, or Crystal Cards are\, they are difficult to use for this class. \n\n\n\nZoom Meeting Information: \n\n\n\nThe evening of the class (5:00pm CST) you will receive an email invitation for your zoom class. \n\n\n\nThe class will open at 6:30pm.  We encourage you to log in by 6:45pm CST \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Instructor: Chris has been studying wellness and healing since 2001. He began as an energy healer and moved into massage therapy in 2004. He has worked at several luxury day spas including Spa Nordstrom and the Park Hyatt hotel where he became the massage trainer. In 2006 he became a Reiki Practitioner\, Reiki Master in 2007 and a Reiki Master Teacher in 2010. He is currently the Regional Spa Director for Relax and Rejuvenate located in the Intercontinental Hotel. He has taught many classes and workshops on energy healing and spirituality. He had his first book\, “Underworld: Shamanism\, Myth\, and Magick” published through Mandrake of Oxford in 2016. Chris’ healing career has the wonderful balance of energy healing\, teaching\, and leadership.
